[City] Plans and Electricity Prices

Your price per kilowatt hour includes the (Companion Energy) Energy Charge for electricity supplied by Companion Energy, the monthly customer base charge, all recurring TDU charges for the delivery of electricity (all of which are passed through to you), and the PUCT Assessment fee and any other recurring third-party fees (all of which are passed through to you). Companion Energy’s Energy Charge for the supply of electricity and the monthly customer base charge will remain fixed during the Initial Term. Your price may be adjusted at any time to reflect changes in TDU charges for the delivery of your electricity, changes in the PUCT Assessment fee or other third-party fees, and for changes in costs resulting from changes in law or regulation. Changes in TDU charges are regulated by the PUCT and are therefore not controlled by Companion Energy. The average price per kWh is more fully explained in the Electricity Facts Label (EFL) for the selected product. Please carefully review the EFL, Terms of Service, and Your Rights as a Customer documents prior to enrolling for service.

Happiness Guarantee - If you're not happy with your new Companion Energy residential plan, just contact us within 60 days of your service activation date. You have the freedom to choose any eligible plan we offer, without incurring penalties. It's that easy. Applies one time only for new Companion Energy residential customers. Your contract term will restart with your second plan. Offer subject to change or withdrawal prior to customer acceptance.

The Energy Charge charged by Companion Energy on fixed price plans is fixed and will not change during the initial term of your plan. The Energy Charge associated with variable price and month to month products may be higher or lower each month. For fixed and variable plans, the total price of your electricity may be adjusted to reflect changes in TDU charges, third party fees, or changes in law or regulation that result in the imposition of new or modified fees or costs on Companion Energy. The price can change to reflect actual price changes that are allowed by the Public Utility Commission due to changes in law or regulatory charges. Your average price for electricity service will vary according to your usage. If you decide to terminate service under this agreement before the expiration date of your term, you will be assessed an early termination fee. If you move to a new location, the early termination fee will not apply and you may be able to transfer this plan to your new location. This plan is available to first-time residential customers only.
